Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry (PPCLI) Regimental Museum and Archives

In addition to the Archives, the Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry Regimental Museum houses a 10,000 square foot Exhibit Gallery within the Museum of the Regiments. The Gallery encompasses dioramas and interactive exhibits that highlight the history of the Regiment from its founding in 1914, through two World Wars, Korea and present day Peacekeeping Missions.

About Collections

The Museum collects artifacts and archival documents relating to the history and traditions of the PPCLI from its founding in 1914 to the present day. The artifact collection is considered to be one of the finest of its kind in Canada and includes works of art, medals, uniforms, flags, military kit, communications equipment, Regimental silver, weapons and memorabilia.

Archives

The archival collection comprises 105 linear meters of documents, maps and books as well as 20,000 photographic images and 400 audio/visual records. The personal letters, diaries, photographs and service records of many notable figures in the Regiment's history, along with rare journals and reference books, provide a valuable resource for any study of Canadian Military history.
